Gratified columns hold up an overpass and shelter a performance space at Stanica.

This is the yard outside of Stanica Žilina-Záriečie, a cultural arts center in Slovakia that grew out of an abandoned train station.  In the summer, this highway overpass covered in local graffiti, is used as an outdoor amphitheater.  It has since been converted into a confined performance space using old beer bottles and crates.

I just started some new meds and they are making me loopy, so unfortunately I can’t elaborate more on this space.  But Stanica is freakin awesome.  Please go there one day and enjoy yourself immensely.
